Lima Guitar Competition --------------- JOGO DE CORDAS is a classical
guitar trio from Curitiba - Brazil. The name JOGO DE CORDAS has an
ambiguous meaning. It can be read either as "a set of strings" or
as "a game of strings". The works presented by the trio
are arrangements, transcriptions or originals for three guitars, using the
possibilities of sound and dinamic that this formation brings. The repertory includes music from
Renaissance to contemporary works. Thus, the group can explore the melodic
subtileness of the guitar as much as its dissonant-percussive power. |
